Microsoft Update 與 Windows Update 到底是差別在哪裡，執行Windows Update時，出現升級Microsoft Update的訊息，到底需不要需要升級呢？
簡單的來說，Windows Update 與 Microsoft Update 原則上都是一樣的，差別在於Windows Update，只針對作業系統本身執行重大更新及自訂更新；Microsoft Update除了針對作業系統本身做重大更新及自訂更新外，另外也會針對安裝於作業系統內的其它伺服器或應用程式的更新，例如Exchange Server、SQL Server、Office...等等的軟體。
